The last monotone pattern! This week has gone a lot more quickly than I expected... I was hoping to have more time to achieve these patterns, but I have brought something new into this world everyday and that in itself is an accomplishment. It is Mother's Day today and lucky for me I was able to spend time outside, listening to the birds and the bubbling fountain and sketch. I took branches and leaves from my garden and copied the shadows on my sketchbook. I was then able to take those images, using positive and negative spaces, to create a shape in illustrator. I was able to add a little new dimension with a pattern (provided by Ai) in back of my shapes. I used black and white to further express the shadow that inspired me.
